Interior
Access to this dolls house is via two large front doors. The house itself consists of one large downstairs room with an old fashioned homemade wooden fireplace and a door that should open through to the hall, but appears to be stuck shut for some reason. (NB. the fire fret has been made from tin and is quite sharp, rendering this unsuitable for a young child). The hall has a staircase upstairs to a small landing and open plan bathroom with an old metal bath fixed into place. The door opens into a large bedroom with one small wooden green painted fireplace.
View Of Hall & Landing
The original wallpaper is still in place plus each room has the original bakelite lighting fittings with delightful tiny paper lampshades. There is still a little bit of felt residue on the wooden floors from previous felt carpets and they would benefit from being sanded down.

 The Garage
The garage doors have two attractive mock diamond windows and open to reveal some remnants of the old bakelite electrics. It is highly advisable to remove this old wiring and replace if lighting is needed. If these were stripped out then this garage is left with a lot of potential as it is quite spacious. There is a glass side window. A lower hinge is missing from the left door but is of no consequence as the door opens and shuts adequately without it.
Front Door & Side Panel
The front door is of a very attractive art deco design with side window. Please note that all windows in this dolls house are glazed with real glass. The door opens into the hall.
Front Windows & Door
There is one window strut missing from the front upper window but should be easy to replace. There are some cracks showing in the wood but nothing too detrimental and are often found in vintage dolls houses.
Overall, even though this dolls house has not been made by a master craftsman, it has a lot of charming features and great potential. Whoever purchases this can have great fun furnishing it throughout. The garage is also a wonderful additional feature and again has great potential.

MEASUREMENTS
Width= 30" Depth=16 1/4" Height=22"
Downstairs ceiling height 6" tall, upstairs 5 3/4"
There is no sign of woodworm or water damage, two common problems with dolls houses that have been in storage for a long while.
As always, I strongly recommend collecting this in person due to its age and fragility. A mutually convenient time can be arranged for collection.
Although it may be possible to send this house by Parcelforce if necessary, please note that even though great care is always taken in packing, I cannot be held responsible for any damage caused during transit.
