Wiltshire
This lovely miniature second hand shop aptly named "Second Hand Rose", has been created and donated by the four talented ladies of what must rank as one of the smallest dolls house clubs in the UK!

The shop and the entire contents too are to be the prize of our competition which can only be entered at the Thame Dolls House & Miniatures Fair.

The entire proceeds will be donated to Breast Cancer Campaign.

Violets Cottage Dolls House Club
Two crazy friends with a love for dolls houses, a chance meeting in a dolls house shop and a response to an advert in the parish magazine and hey presto Violets Cottage was born. Based In North Wiltshire we are Norma, Sue, Averil and Sheila.
Why the name Violets Cottage?
Norma’s first vintage doll was named Violet after her Gran, Sue’s Mum who loved miniatures was also Violet as was Averil’s Mum and Sheila’s Mum-in-law. The coincidence was too strong to ignore!
We meet once a month and between us own 31 houses (many vintage), 3 shops, a pub, 2 conservatories, a summerhouse, 3 room boxes and a caravan!. Our aims are to have fun, share our knowledge and help the Breast Cancer Campaign.
Second Hand Rose
Sue donated the shop which had originally featured in a magazine article. A second hand shop was the perfect project to display miniatures we had made or collected that were otherwise homeless.
