Pit-a-Pat

These gorgeous items, in my opinion, can be used perfectly well with both vintage 1/16th or vintage 1/12th scale dolls houses. I have put the measurements to help you decide for yourself. Many antique 1930s dolls houses that these were made for at that time, were often created in a mismatch of scales anyway, unlike nowadays where scale is far more precise.

  • Eric Lehrman based in London, manufactured under the name of the “Pit-A-Pat Toy Company” from about 1933 to 1940 and during that time produced at least 130 different items for the dolls house. These items are highly sought after and very collectable.

Pit-a-Pat furniture is suitable for both vintage 1/16th scale and 1/12th scale dolls houses.

Pit-a-Pat Dolls House Dresserc1930s Pit-a-Pat Dresser(Some Scuffing & Door Not Closing Completely) SOLD

This wooden Pit-a-Pat dresser is in an overall good solid condition however...there is some scuffing down the right side plus the right door does not fully shut (the pinned hinge seems very tight and could probably be rectified if one wished). Please take note of these minor imperfections before ordering though and study the photos. Still retains it's original red/black label.

Pit-a-Pat Dolls House Label Pit-a-Pat Dolls House Dresser-Side View With Some Scuffing On Right Side

If this was in tip-top condition, it would be worth over £40.00.....price has been reduced due to the minor imperfections so a bargain for someone.

There are three shelves including plenty of pin "hooks" to display your vintage china and wares from. Nice item.

Pit-a-Pat Dolls House Grand PianoRare 1930s Pit-a-Pat Grand Piano SOLD

Here is a magnificent rare black painted wooden grand piano with lift up top lid that can be kept open by a wire prop or shut as you wish. There are mock paper keys and the lid to these have been made in such a way that it is permanently propped open. There are two metal foot pedals protruding from the botton of two legs which I think may have been glued at some point in it's life on its join underside. There is gold painted detail (to represent the wires?) on the top of the piano.

This is in a good played with condition albeit a little wobbly. It does seem that when rested the front right leg lifts off the ground a tiny bit. However I personally am going to leave well alone as it just adds to the character. The words "The Pit a Pat Piano Co LONDON are printed in gold on the open lid.

This is a rare example of aPit-a-Pat piece and just wonderful.

Measures 4 1/4" tall when lid is propped open x 3 1/4" wide x 4" deep.
