Brimtoy stands for Britsh Metal & Toys Manufacturers.
In the 1950s Brimtoy brought out "My Dolly's Kitchen Series consisting of a sink, cooker, fridge, washing machine, table & chairs, cupboard and dresser plus some kitchen tools.
Most of the furniture consisted of printed tin with plastic components however the table & chairs were all plastic.
The printed decoration on several of these pieces are extremely decorative and attractive.
The price is determined on condition.

1950s Brimtoy Fridge @ £9.50

This delightful tin fridge with plastic door is in a well played with condition. Sadly the tiny ice box is missing from inside (just left with an empty gap) but I don't feel this detracts from the character of this fridge. The lithographed contents inside the fridge are exquisite!

1950s Brimtoy Washing Machine @ £9.50 SOLD

Tin washing machine with plastic rollers that rotate when handle moves. The interior agitator rotates backwards and forwards when the lower spoke (missing the plastic handle) is moved. In a well played with condition with a little wear & tear.
