If you would like to send your bid by post, please write your bid clearly with your full name, full address, phone number and email address (if applicable) and place in a sealed envelope marked with the words SEALED BID AUCTION.

It is advisable to send your bid by Recorded Delivery so that you have proof of delivery, as we cannot accept any responsibility for any bid that is lost in the post.

AT THAME DOLLS HOUSE & MINIATURES FAIR

Visitors to Thame Dolls House & Miniatures Fair on the 20th February 2010 will have the opportunity to place their sealed bid in person.

Bidding will cease at 3.00 pm that day.

Before you bid, please read the Terms & Conditions below. Your bid will remain confidential & private until the closing time of the auction. Online bidding for this auction will close on Friday 19th February 2010 @ 12.00pm.

You are welcome to bid more than once, if you wish to place a higher bid than before however please note, if bidding more than once, your highest bid only will be accepted.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THIS AUCTION
1. Bidding in person closes at 3.00pm on the 20th of February 2010. Bidding by post must reach us by Friday 19th October. Online Bidding closes on Friday 19th October @ 12.00pm .

Bids received after the above stated time cannot be accepted.

2. Once your bid is received you are committed to pay the offered amount for this room box, should you be the winning bidder.

3. If you post a bid to us via an unsigned for service by Royal Mail, we cannot accept any responsibility for a bid not reaching us, so is advisable to use a Signed For service.

4. Deadline for payment by the wining bidder is the 1st March 2010. If payment is not received by this time the organisers reserve the right to re-sell to the next highest bidder or in the event of a tie, all bids of same winning amount will be placed back in a hat and a person independent from the event organiser will be invited to randomly pick a winner.

5. Payment can be made by cash or cheque at the event on the day, or subsequently by credit card using our online facility.

6. In the event of a tie in bids, all bids of the winning same amount will be placed in a hat and one picked out at random by a person independent from the event organiser.

7. The winning bid will be published on Thame Dolls House & Miniatures Fair Promotional Page and the winner not able to attend the auction in person will be notified by telephone in the first instance and then by letter & email (if applicable).

8. The reserve price is set at £99.00, any bids below this amount will not be accepted.

9. If this does not reach it's reserve price the organiser reserve the right to sell/auction it at a later date with a new reserve of their choosing

10. If you cannot attend the event on the day and you have the winning bid, it is strongly advised that you make mutually convenient arrangements with the organisers to collect the item in person.

11. If you have the winning bid, are unable to attend the event on the day or collect the item in person after the event, then you must pay the full price for any postage/delivery costs. We will make every effort to package any item with the utmost care, however we as organisers will not accept any responsibility for any damage caused in transit.

12. The organiser’s decision concerning this auction is final and will not be prepared to enter in any subsequent discussions after this auction has ended.
